“Thank you for taking me on such a wonderful journey. You have helped me achieve a feeling of release by allowing me to figure out what I want from life, clarity regarding what I need to do to fulfil these needs and control over how I’m going to do that. I had never expected to get so much from coaching but thanks to you it’s been brilliant. I will be passing your name onto all of my friends and family so be prepared!” – H.Walsh

“Before I started coaching, there were countless little things that were getting me down, to the point that I was doing none of the things that I enjoyed. I had a trip to India on the horizon, which is something that I had always dreamed of doing, and I was not that excited about it. There was always a mental block- something trivial to worry about. I was always convincing myself that there was no reason to be happy or excited. And I wasn’t doing this voluntarily, it was like it had become a part of who I was and I felt I couldn’t change it, but it meant that I was constantly sad, tired, unsatisfied, and bored.
When I went to the coaching, I had no idea how to put all of that into words. I was very open to changing however, but I had no idea how of if it would happen. I remember when I started I kept telling Darragh that he had his work cut out for him!
And now to focus on the positives!
I have trouble putting what I feel into words, but without giving an exact explanation of what I wanted to change, I have arrived there. It is like Darragh can sense what I am trying to get at and guides me to that place. If I compare how I feel now to before I started the coaching, I suppose that the main thing I can say is I have no excuses any more! I still feel the same emotions, the same things get me down but Darragh has equipped me with the skills to recognise what I am feeling, find out why I am feeling it and because of this I don’t let the feelings settle. In other words I kind of nip negative thoughts and emotions in the bud! No matter how trivial something seemed to me, Darragh never made me feel awkward or silly. In fact he applauded me for being honest and as a result I felt like I could disclose things to Darragh that I wouldn’t normally feel comfortable telling someone. The different activities that he has given me to do have reawakened interests that I had forgotten.
Its impossible to get into words how much Darragh has helped me. But if I was to sum it up I would say that he has reminded me who I really am and I cant thank him enough.” – G.Fox

“When Darragh became my life coach I wasn’t sure what to expect. From the first session Darragh set out the details of what a lifecoach does, he encouraged me to explore different aspects of my life, to appreciate my strengths and work on my weaknesses, all the things I had been putting on the long finger were being picked off the list as our sessions progressed.
Darragh facilitated me setting goals for myself, he had me explore different aspects of my life as it stands now and the ratings I apply to those aspects which really helped me to see where I needed to focus my efforts.
I set my goals each week and I found that I can plan very effectively & manage my goals without putting pressure on. I now have the confidence to use my strengths so that the satisfaction and the sense of achievement I had been missing in my life is building every day.
I would strongly recommend Darragh, maybe you feel you need to get some inspiration, maybe its losing a job in this recession and needing to change direction in your career, lifecoaching changed the way I look at my life.
I have changed my focus completely. Its about me now, not in a selfish way of course, its about things like getting my cholesterol down, getting my little business idea planned and getting it off the ground. All going well I will be paying the bills and the mortgage from my little business idea… and most of all, I finish my evening now quite proud of my achievements every day regardless of how small they may be, I have done something for myself and it feels fantastic!!” – J.Finnan

“Darragh,
Thank you so very much for making me keep my focus during our coaching sessions. Thank you for getting me to the point of realisation and for making me commit to activities that have made me move forward with my dreams. I am writing away regularly and making time for this, and that is in no small thanks to you. You are a terrific listener and coach. I’ll credit you when I get published! Best wishes for the future. Regards. Una Murphy”
